Congratulations to local stuntman and actor, Mark K Yawn, for his latest role as an ax wielding assassin in Orion Pictures “The Domestics”!
Set in a post-apocalyptic America, the Mike Nelson written and directed horror film was shot in south Louisiana proving again the need to keep Hollywood coming to our great state. Yawn, a lifelong resident of Shreveport, has assumed many roles in television and movies both inside and ou
tside Louisiana.
His latest release has him as a rouge biker and part of a gang called the Nailers! The Nailers are a territorial gang of the most brutal kind, who punish all who pass through their territory. His long hair, beard, spiked hand and leather coat, make for a very scary and intimidating character and his trademark red, white and blue ax makes him even more menacing.
Starring Kate Bosworth and Tyler Hoechlin, and Lance Riddick, the film is reminiscent of a modern day American Mad Max. It has been described as the Purge meets Mad Max. The Domestics, is set for limited release but becomes available on demand beginning June 29th, the same day as theaters. Be sure and support our Louisiana film industry and hometown native.
If the trailer is any indication, this will be a must see, for those who are brave enough!
Way to represent Shreveport/Bossier Mark K Yawn.
