Priscilla Adams is a very happy filmmaker right now. Her full feature film, Reunited secured a global distribution deal with Maverick Entertainment. Maverick released Reunited on Sept 27 2016. Family Video stores nationwide will carry the title, as well as Military Naval Bases around the world, libraries across the US, and retail giant Wal-Mart has signed on to carry the title nationwide with a release date in early December. An exact date should be coming soon.
This movie is a dramatic story about a couple (Broderick and Angel) that’s reunited years after high school, and find themselves caught up in a whirlwind romance that comes to a halt, when Angel’s secret comes out. The film Reunited is a very dramatic emotional piece, that’s sure to make you Feel, make you Think, and make you Laugh; all at the same time. It’s very entertaining, but also has a mission to convey a strong message about a topic that is very taboo even in today’s times.
Reunited has won an ‘Award of Merit’ for it’s message and content, and an ‘Award of Excellence’ for it’s dramatic impact. Priscilla also won the Best New Filmmaker award at Atlanta’s Peachtree Village Int’l Film Festival featuring Reunited. Priscilla is the first filmmaker from Louisiana to receive a distribution deal with Maverick Entertainment, who happens to be founded by another Louisiana native Doug Schwab.
Reunited was written and directed by Priscilla Adams who also stars in it, with music score by Ceddy Boi and stars talent consisting of Ken Duane McDonald, Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def recording artist Dondria, gospel artist Simply Gayla, and Donny Boaz, among others. Reunited was filmed in the Dallas metroplex area, but Priscilla who is a native of Shreveport, LA moved back to her hometown shortly thereafter; where she produces, videos and short films, and is already thinking about producing her next feature movie.
