Virginia’s Diary to be Filmed in Shreveport

Have we been here before in a past life? Suzanne Peyton believes we have and has written the true story, Virginia’s Diary. Backed by legal documents this story reads more like a novel, and offers the reader a front row seat as Peyton unravels lies her family was told about a great grandmother that supposedly abandoned her children in 1904. As the lies unravel, Peyton and her readers are faced with only one conclusion; reincarnation. But how will she tell others her truth and still call herself a Christian?

SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA
AUGUST 4, 2015

What would you do if you went to sleep tonight and had a dream that changed your life and your family’s history forever? Peyton awakens from just such a dream on January 3, 1999. Someone in the dream that she doesn’t know has asked her a question. Who died the year you were born? Unable to escape the nagging question, she turns to her estranged mother for help. The journey is one of unexplainable events that will follow Peyton and all that witness it, for the next sixteen years.
Virginia’s Diary describes a family living in wealth, considered the Pioneers of the Garden District of New Orleans. In the late 1800’s a family splits apart and a child is left behind with grandparents. Then, when the young Virginia is nineteen, she is lured to Texas by her estranged parents and sold for her dowry. She will go through hell itself for the next four years as she attempts to find a way to escape.

Virginia’s Diary is also being made into a major motion picture. Peyton is working with Producers and plans for Shreveport, Louisiana to be the primary location for filming beginning sometime in 2016.
